Activities and Adventures

A Family Affair 
Special events for the entire family are scheduled throughout the summer.They include a family shabbat party, ‘A day in the life of your camper’ and a mock Jewish wedding. Our detailed event calendars and camp newspapers keep you abreast of all your children’s activities.

Creative Hands / Crafts 
Camp Gan Israel’s innovative arts and crafts teach the children to be creative and imaginative. The crafts incorporate various themes in Jewish life as well as fun and useful projects. Campers are sure to proudly look back at the craft of their own hands well after the summer is over.

Lights, Camera, Action! 
Comedy skits, talent shows, and auction days are just a few of the programs that challenge the children to develop their innate talents.

Play ball! 
Supervised by our experienced instructors, children develop sportsmanship, confidence, and the ability to enjoy all sports, including baseball, basketball, football, kickball, creative movement, and more.

CGI on the Go Fieldtrips 
Gan Israel holds regular "trip days" which include theme parks, nature hiking, ice skating and more. These exciting adventures allow our children to really show their true CGI spirit.

Swimming 
The Wetter the Better! 
Camp Gan Israel goes swimming twice per week at the local Westminster Recreation Center. The pools are staffed with Red Cross certified lifeguards and the camp staff supervise the campers as well. Swimming is an exciting part of our week at CGI!

Weekly Trips to great places, such as:

All trips are supervised by camp personnel.

Extra staff will accompany campers.
