Dear Friend,
Why am I writing to you about Chabad’s new Youth Lounge in memory of Tova Silber? Because growing up is easier when you have a place to belong. Tova’s Youth Lounge at Chabad of NW Metro Denver will be that place– but we need your help to make it happen.
Let’s build a space designed for today’s Jewish kids and teens. We need your $18, $54, $75, $250—whatever you can give—to bring this vision to life. Tova’s family are working to see this project come to life.
"Tova was a giver, always helping others," her mom Rona shared. “She did everything for everyone and never expected anything in return.” If she were here, she’d be the first to grab a paintbrush.
Tova’s Lounge will be a safe space where Jewish kids and teens can just be—where they can claim their identity, connect with others like them, and dream big.
Here’s what we’re planning:
- Hangout space – Custom-designed with couches, bean bags, and entertainment. ($2,500)
- Snack bar – Bond over food and Jewish conversation. ($7,000 for full sponsorship, $500 for the snack cabinet)
- Indoor sports – Ping pong, foosball, and more. ($2,000 for the full setup, $375 for ping pong)
Tova was taken from us too soon at 38, but her spirit will live on in Tova’s Space. She along with Ori made sure their children, connected with their Jewish identity. We can ensure they and others have a place to thrive.
Jewish teens today face growing challenges—antisemitism, loneliness, and identity struggles. The best response? Action. Let’s build Tova’s Youth Lounge together.
We need $24,000 to fund the entire project. Every dollar counts. Let’s make this a reality by spring—just in time for Jewish teens to study, chill, and connect.
